Triangle’s history

In 1991, Triangle introduced the Steri-Center™ 9000, the first sterilization center designed for dental practices. The Steri-Center was created on the Instrument Recirculation Process – a comprehensive sterilization protocol developed by Triangle through extensive scientific research into infection control and now the accepted standard by an extensive list of certifying bodies, including the ADA, CDC, OSAP, OSHA, and local authorities. Since then, Triangle has launched five generations of the Steri-Center 9000, and the current model – the SCX5 – continues to be the industry standard.

The Planmeca Group acquired Triangle Furniture Systems in 2005, adding cabinetry to its range of state-of the-art products. Triangle develops and manufacturers sterilization and operatory equipment at its factory in Montreal, Canada, available through the worldwide Planmeca distribution network. Triangle’s mission has always been to create a functional and supportive environment, while assisting dental staff to comply with recommended performance practices.
